Disasters and Emergencies

The analysis of selected disasters and emergencies in each one of our three cities was carried out by Work Package 2. This Work Package sought to interrogate how specific dissaster events unfolded. It reconstructed each event through a range of desk-based and qualitative techniques, focusing in the role that digital and smart urban technologies played at the time.

This Work Package also sought to understand what role might digital and smart urban technologies played, even when they were not present as the disaster happened.
