Dr Héctor Becerril Miranda

Héctor is a Co-Investigator in the project’s Mexican team, co-leading Work Package 2. He holds a PhD in Development Planning from University College London (UCL), and his research focuses on public policy analysis, urban development and housing. Since 2015, he has worked at the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAGRO) in the project “Public policy and innovative technologies for civil protection in the Acapulco Metropolitan Area”. At UAGRO, Héctor teaches on the Sustainable Development Master, part of the Academic Unity on Development Management. Héctor is an architect by training, having studied his BA and Masters at ENSAL Lyon, in France, and a Masters in Urbanism at the French Institute for Urbanism (IFU).
