Dr Karol Yáñez Soria

Karol holds a PhD on Development Planning from University College London (UCL). She has experience on projects to reduce the ecological footprint of the private sector in the UK and Mexico. Karol has also worked as a United Nations consultant on urban sustainability diagnostics and indexing in Mexico and Vietnam. On the academic sector, she has researched topics of urban planning and environment, food systems and civil society participation in public policy in Mexico, India and Ghana. Currently, Karol’s work focuses on urban environmental sustainability, environmental governance and public policy, and climate change adaptation.
